Who are we?
The Danirosa Association was created in April 2003. In 2001 during a summer camp organised for children from the Roma community in the south of Bulgaria, we met Daniel and her sister Rosa, and we decided to name the association after them.
Many different professional categories may be found in our association: salaried employees, self-employed, pensioners and students… all of them are willing to share very special moments with those who have so little, as well as our faith in a fairer and more peaceful world. We are sharing all the talents, know-how and experiences that life has given us with those who need them.
Where do we work ?
From 2003 to 2005 : Bulgaria
From 2005 to the current period : India in different states : Orissa, Andhra pradesh, Kashmir and Manipur
Where do our funds come from ?
90% of our funds come from the "Prevent Poverty foundation" in Switzerland
The remaining 10% come from donation or from sponsorship programs
Danirosa Association doesn't receive any public subsidies
